2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. This includes what you send us when you:

• Fill out the contact form on our website: your name, email address and/or phone number, property address, and your message.
• Call, text, or email us.
• Work with us as a property owner or tenant: names, contact details, property addresses, lease and management agreement details, maintenance requests, and related correspondence.

Information handled through third-party services. Some parts of renting and managing a property, such as rental listings, applications, resident and owner portals, payments, and document signing, are handled through outside services. Depending on the service, it may collect more sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, identification documents, or banking details, under its own privacy policy. We do not personally receive or store Social Security numbers, identification documents, or banking documents.

Information collected when you visit our website. Like most websites, our site's hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. It is used to deliver and protect the site and to give us general visit statistics. See Section 6 for details about cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Responding to your questions and requests.
• Marketing rental properties and handling rental applications.
• Preparing and carrying out leases and property management agreements.

4. How We Share Information

When needed to manage a rental or coordinate work, we may share tenant names and contact information with the property owner or maintenance contractors. We also use service providers to support our communications and property management operations.

The services we use include DoorLoop, Gmail, Sable Sign, and Zillow applications. Not every service receives every type of information. What a service receives depends on what we use it for, and each service handles information under its own privacy policy.

Within our business, information is accessed by American Dream Property Management and its employees.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Marketing Communications

We send newsletters and may send promotional emails or text messages, subject to applicable consent requirements. You can ask us to stop sending marketing communications by contacting us at americandreamcda@gmail.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary communications about your rental, account, or property management services.

Sending us a message through our website, giving us your phone number, or reading this policy does not sign you up for promotional text messages.

6. Cookies & Website Services

Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Our hosting provider sets two technical cookies that the site needs to work properly:

• A cookie that keeps your visit on the same version of the website while you browse.
• A security cookie that helps tell real visitors apart from automated bots. It expires after 30 minutes.

Our website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads. When you follow links to outside sites, such as our resident and owner portals or our Google Business Profile, those sites' own privacy policies apply.

7. Website Contact Form

Messages sent through our contact form travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are saved in our website's database. Website visitors can send messages but cannot see messages that anyone else has sent.

When you submit the form, our website also emails a copy of your message to our business Gmail inbox so we can respond quickly. That email includes your name, the email address and/or phone number you provide, your property address, and your message. It is sent from our own Gmail account, not from your email address. If you include an email address, replying to our notification sends our reply straight to you. Gmail handles these emails under Google's privacy policy. Submitting the form does not sign you up for newsletters, marketing emails, or text messages.

8. Keeping Information Safe

Our website uses HTTPS to encrypt information sent between your browser and the site. Information handled by the third-party services we use is protected according to those services' own practices. No website, service, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We currently retain business records for an unspecified period and do not have a fixed deletion schedule. Retention practices may vary among the third-party services we use.

10. Your Choices & Privacy Requests

You can contact us with questions about your information, to request corrections, or to stop receiving marketing communications. We do not routinely delete business records on request. We will consider privacy requests in accordance with applicable law and any recordkeeping obligations.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
